Breast Ptosis – Sagging Breasts – Droopy Breasts

A woman’s breasts change over time, losing their youthful shape and firmness.
Commonly, breasts become more droopy with age, weight fluctuations, pregnancy and breast-feeding, gravity and heredity.
breast ptosis classification
Breast ptosis, commonly known as “sagging breasts” is graded in stages, depending on nipple position in relation to the IMF (inframammary fold) which is the crease where the breast meets the chest.
A mastopexy (breast uplift) is commonly performed to improve the shape and appearance of sagging breasts and to raise the nipple position. Breast uplift does not, however, change the size of your breast. If you want your breasts to look fuller, you may want to consider a mastopexy augmentation (combination of breast uplift and breast augmentation surgery). Miss Breahna will discuss the best approach during a full and thorough consultation.
