Gynaecomastia – Male Breasts – Man Boobs
Gynaecomastia (enlarged male breasts or “Moobs”) is a condition characterised by overdeveloped breasts in men, which can present at any age, especially during puberty.
In the majority of cases there is no known cause, although can be the result of hormonal changes, hereditary conditions or use of certain recreational or prescription drugs.
Gynaecomastia is characterised by excess localised fat and/or excess glandular tissue development and can be present in one or both breasts. Male breast reduction surgery for gynaecomastia correction aims to restore a more natural male appearance to the chest enabling you to confidently wear the clothes you desire.
