Am I a good candidate for breast lift surgery at the Cheshire clinic?

It is very common for breasts to change shape over a lifetime and you may notice significant changes occurring after weight loss, breastfeeding, or menopause.

A breast lift will reshape sagging breasts so if you are dissatisfied with your breasts because they have lost their youthful appearance you may like to consider breast surgery with Miss Breahna.

During this relatively straightforward procedure, your breasts will be repositioned higher on your chest wall and your nipple position will also be improved.

Miss Breahna ensures that her patients are fully informed about what she can achieve with surgery. She will also take a full medical history and assess your general health before advising you that surgery is the right course of action for you.

Will a mastopexy in Cheshire restore breast volume?

Mastopexy alone will not restore a full, rounded shape to the breast or change the size of the breast.

You can discuss options to change the size of the breasts at the same time as your breast lifts with Miss Breahna when you come to the Cheshire clinic for your consultation.

Women who wish to restore volume or to have a larger cup size can combine a mastopexy with a breast augmentation procedure during which Miss Breahna will insert breast implants.

If you would like smaller breasts, it is also possible to combine breast reduction surgery with your mastopexy.

Miss Breahna will discuss all these options with you when you come to the Cheshire clinic for your consultations.

Why you should choose Anca Breahna for your breast surgery in Cheshire

Anca Breahna’s excellence as a surgeon has been recognised both in the UK where she is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Plast) and internationally with a Fellowship of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (FEBOPRAS).

You can find out more about her impressive range of qualifications here.

However, Miss Breahna’s personal qualities and the supportive relationships that she develops with her patients are equally important to her reputation as the ‘go-to’ woman for breast uplift surgery.

As a woman herself, she understands that your breasts can be central to your body image and that feeling good about them can transform your body image.

From your first consultation, Miss Breahna will inspire you with confidence, and her expertise will ensure that you are delighted with the final result of your breast uplift surgery.

What to expect during the uplift procedure in Cheshire

Miss Breahna will make a circular incision around your areola and then a second vertical incision from your nipple to the crease under your breast.

Your breast tissue can be accessed through the incisions and Miss Breahna can remodel the tissue into an aesthetically pleasing shape. Any excess skin will be trimmed away to tighten the breast. Your nipple will be moved into a more youthful position at the same time.

Your recovery from breast uplift surgery

Breast uplift surgery is performed under general anaesthetic either as a day case or with an overnight stay and Miss Breahna will assess you before you leave for home.

Aftercare is a priority at Miss Breahna’s Cheshire clinic and your progress will be carefully reviewed at regular follow-up appointments. Miss Breahna will see you on a weekly basis for the first month after your operation and then at three-month intervals for a year.

She always advises her patients to wear a support garment for three months after a breast uplift. It isn’t a glamorous look but it will protect your surgical incisions and help to reduce swelling.

You will need to rest to allow your body time to recover. It is essential that you follow Miss Breahna’s advice about when you are ready to return to work, driving and exercise. If you do too much too soon it may affect the results achieved.

When will I see the full benefits of my mastopexy?

It may take a few weeks for the post-operative puffiness to subside completely but when it does you will be delighted with your rejuvenated breast shape.

Are there any potential risks with breast uplift surgery?

All surgical interventions carry risks and your uplift surgery is no exception. Possible complications include swelling, bruising, tenderness, infection and bleeding.

If you choose to have breast augmentation with breast implants then there are a few more risks to consider like capsular contracture, temporary loss of nipple sensation and implant rupture.

However, Miss Breahna’s surgical skill, the high-quality breast implants that she uses and the first-class aftercare provided at the Cheshire clinic mean that you are unlikely to experience serious issues after your breast uplift surgery.
